  • Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, and Joe Perry Combine Forces to Bring Us the Band ‘Hollywood Vampires’

Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, and Joe Perry have formed a band called Hollywood Vampires and they are releasing their self-titled album on September 11. The album will consist of mainly cover songs and two originals. One of their original songs is aptly named “Raise The Dead.” Listen to a teaser of their upcoming album in the video below.

The three originally formed the band as a tribute to the original Hollywood Vampires, whom came together back in the 70’s at the Los Angeles Rainbow bar & Grill. They have brought together a number of A-List musicians to create their album. Some of the musicians you can expect to hear are Foo Fighter’s Dave Grohl, The Beatles’ Sir Paul McCartney, Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver’s Slash, Jane’s Addiction’s Perry Farrell, Winger and Alice Cooper’s Kip Winger, AC/DC’s Brian Johnson, The Who’s Zak Starkey, and The Eagles’ Joe Walsh.

To make things even better, the profits from the album will be donated to the MusiCares charity. You can pre-order the album on iTunes now. Listen to the preview below.
