AC Cars America is thrilled to announce its role as an Official Sponsor of the 2025 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. This prestigious event, held in Pebble Beach, California, will feature the historic AC marque this August. The AC GT Roadster will be showcased on the Concept Lawn at The Lodge at Pebble Beach on Sunday, August 17th, offering US automotive enthusiasts and collectors a glimpse of this exclusive sports car.
The AC GT Roadster retains the iconic roadster’s visual identity while introducing a fresh design. It combines modern technology and engineering to create a contemporary sports car. While it remains true to the spirit of the original 1960s AC Cobra, it incorporates advanced drivetrain and control technologies for enhanced performance and handling.
The presence of the AC GT Roadster at Concours Sunday marks another step in AC Cars’ revival in America. This event concludes a week of activities during Monterey Car Week. Prior to this, AC Cars America will participate in Motorlux on Wednesday, August 13th, and Exotics on Broadway on Saturday, August 16th.
In addition to these events, AC Cars America will host exclusive client and sales gatherings in the area. These events provide attendees with an opportunity to see the stunning AC GT Roadster up close and discuss securing one of the limited production slots available.
AC Cars (England) Ltd., Britain’s oldest vehicle manufacturer, was founded by the Weller Brothers in 1901. Initially producing cars and motorbikes from their London workshop, they introduced their first vehicle in 1903. The Auto Carrier followed a year later, becoming a successful three-wheel commercial delivery vehicle that inspired the name “AC.”
The launch of the AC Ace in 1953 solidified the company’s reputation. Designed by Eric George Gray with an aluminium body, it gained respect for its practicality and speed. This model evolved into the legendary Ford V8-powered AC Cobra.
Exclusive Production
The enduring appeal of the AC Cobra lies in its distinctive shape and unique design. With limited production and meticulous craftsmanship, it remains reserved for exclusive clientele. AC Cars collaborates with leading industry suppliers for design, development, and construction from facilities in the UK and Germany.
The introduction of the AC Cobra GT range signals a new era for AC Cars’ vehicle production. Alongside its Donington headquarters and south coast facility, AC Cars plans to expand its development and production capabilities across Europe.
