Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler came together for Disney’s live-action film Snow White that failed to leave a mark at the box-office. The commercial setback has left the leading lady upset and she has spoken about why it didn’t set the cash registers ringing. She didn’t talk about the plot of the film or the audiences response but a particular statement made by Rachel that kept fans away from the much-hyped movie. It has to do something with the conflict between Israel and Palestine that began back in October 2023.

The Hollywood star was quoted saying, “First of all, I have to say that I really enjoyed filming this movie. I even enjoyed working with Rachel Zegler. We laughed, we talked, and it was fun. I was sure that this movie was going to be a huge success.”
She added, “And then October 7 happened, and what’s happening in all kinds of industries, and also in Hollywood, is that there’s a lot of pressure on celebrities to speak out against Israel.”
‘I was disappointed that the movie was greatly affected’
Gal Gadot added, “I can always explain and try to give people in the world context about what’s happening and what the reality is here, but in the end, people decide for themselves. I was disappointed that the movie was greatly affected by that and didn’t do well at the box office.”
What Gal Gadot posed about Israel
The Wonder Woman actress had penned back in October 2023, “At least 250 Israeli have been murdered and dozens of women children and elders held as hostages in Gaza, by Palestinian military group Hamas. Starting early morning more than 3,000 rockets were fire.”
She added, “Hamas is holding hostages, controlling bases and settlements in Israel. There have been more than 1,500 injured and heavy fighting is still ongoing. “I hear their voices and they are banging on the door. I am with my two little children. My heart is aching Praying for all of those in pain.”
