The Tucson has been named the best SUV in the $25,000 to $30,000 new car price range
Hyundai Motor Group has claimed seven out of 12 categories in US News & World Report’s Best Cars for Teens for 2025 awards, marking its fourth consecutive year as the most-awarded automaker since 2022.
In the new car segment, Hyundai’s Elantra (sold as Avante in Korea), Tucson, Tucson Hybrid and Kia’s subcompact SUV, the Soul, were recognized, the South Korean automotive group said on Tuesday. Hyundai Motor Co. and Kia Corp. belong to the group.
For used vehicles, the 2022 models of Elantra Hybrid, Tucson Hybrid and Santa Fe Hybrid secured top spots. Notably, the Tucson has been named the best SUV in the $25,000 to $30,000 price range for new cars for four consecutive years.
Jack Doell, the Autos team editor at US News & World Report, said the awards reflect Hyundai’s consistent commitment to developing safe and affordable vehicles.
Olabisi Boyle, senior vice president of product planning and mobility strategy at Hyundai Motor North America, added that the company’s models appeal to both “style- and technology-conscious teens and safety- and reliability-focused parents.”
