Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews has spoken out about claims that their marriage is taking a rocky turn, and did so with a bizarre AI-generated image of a news article
Lee Andrews has slammed speculation about problems in his marriage to Katie Price – and claimed yet again that he’s flying to the UK despite rumours that he’s banned from leaving the UAE.
The pair tied the knot in Dubai earlier this year, just days after meeting one another. The shock wedding is said to have left Katie’s family concerned, and it was recently reported that this has put Katie and Lee’s relationship under strain.
The Dubai-based businessman has now taken the time to address the rumours and claimed again that he will be coming to the UK. He has previously denied reports that he is banned from leaving Dubai due to alleged legal issues.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (April 16), he posted a fake article with a photo of Lee and Katie with the headline: “Lee Andrews confirms return to the UK.” Lee recently revealed their plans to have a second wedding in the UK – and claimed they’d have a baby in the UAE.
It added: “The couple are stronger than ever and will make the commitment to living together this May ahead of their winter wedding this year,” he declared.
In a video shared earlier today, Lee relaxed in bed while telling the camera: “Morning everyone. I thought I’d give everyone the raw version, vampire look that Katie gets to see in the morning … Life is good with us at the moment, we’ve got a lot going on. We are making a good go of it in England.”
He said they were going to be “50/50 in Dubai” but shared that this wouldn’t be a problem for either of them going forward, and ended the video by quipping that they would need to take a trip to Turkey to sort out his hair.
Proving his commitment to the mum-of-five, the businessman also posted a string of photos of them together on his story, before showing off his tattoo of Katie’s name on his wedding ring finger.
Kati has been regularly heading out to Dubai – despite the conflict in the Middle East – but she has shut down the idea of her moving there. Unpacking their romance in a recent episode of her podcast, the former glamour model revealed that her eldest son, Junior, was among those questioning how fast things had moved with Lee.
“I was talking today to Junior and he said: ‘Mum, why did you get married so quick?’, she recalled. “I said, ‘Junior there’s a show called Love is Blind where they get to know each other but don’t know what they look like and marry them. No one moans about that concept.
“They know nothing about the other person. But I actually got to know Lee, I saw him face to face on the screen. Yet I marry him and it’s uproar. It’s alright for programmes to do it.”
Making it clear she won’t be moving to Dubai any time soon, she added: “I’ve got five children, I’m not going to just get up and move to Dubai. I want to get to know Lee more before anything. There’s no rush. I don’t know why people are so invested. It’s nobody’s business. I live in West Sussex and that is it.”
